Application Overview and Affiliation

Application Name: The application is named Railhub.

No Government or Railway Affiliation: It is important to clarify that Railhub is not affiliated with any government or railway authority. This project has been developed by an individual, working with a small team, to provide a platform exclusively designed for railway staff. The materials and resources available on the platform are all publicly accessible; we simply organize and present them in a structured and easily navigable manner to ensure that railway employees can access the information they need efficiently.

Content Ownership and Use

Authorized Content: The content shared on Railhub is either publicly available or is generated with user permission. We ensure that all materials provided do not include unauthorized, illegal, or private data. We take care to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and appropriateness of all information provided.

Content Reporting: If any user identifies content that they believe violates these guidelines, we encourage them to use the "Report" feature within the app. Alternatively, they can email us directly at contactus@thelocopilot.in. We are committed to swiftly addressing any issues and taking appropriate action to remove any content deemed harmful or in violation of our standards.

User Responsibilities

Respectful Interaction: Users of Railhub must ensure that the content they post or share follows community guidelines. Inappropriate, offensive, or unlawful content will result in the suspension or removal of the offending user’s account.

No Private or Sensitive Data: We strictly prohibit the sharing of sensitive, unauthorized, or private data on the platform. Any media or content that violates these terms can be flagged and reported by users for review.

Media Permissions

Android Photo Picker Usage: We respect user privacy and only use media permissions in a limited, non-intrusive way. The Android Photo Picker is an inbuilt Android feature that allows users to select images or videos from their device when uploading media to the platform. Importantly, this feature does not give Railhub access to the user's entire device storage. The permission to pick media is granted only when users actively choose to upload content.

Privacy and Data Collection

Personal Data: We collect basic personal information during registration, including name, mobile number, email address, and password, strictly for the purpose of securing user accounts and providing access to the platform. We ensure that all passwords are stored securely, and we will never share or misuse any user data.

Notifications: Users may opt in to receive notifications regarding platform updates, important posts, or feature changes. Notifications are managed in such a way that they are not intrusive, and users can disable them at any time.

Data Security: We prioritize the security of your data. Personal information, including your email and mobile number, is kept private and accessible only to you. We advise users to keep their passwords secure and to avoid sharing them with others.

Reporting and Action

How to Report Inappropriate Content: Users have the ability to report any inappropriate or unauthorized content they come across on the platform. Whether in the Blog, Community, Awareness, or Resources Hub sections, users can utilize the "Report" feature to alert us.

Action Taken: Upon receiving a report, we will promptly review the content and take necessary actions, including content removal or account suspension, to maintain the platform’s integrity. User-Generated Content

Accountability for Shared Media: Users are solely responsible for the content they upload, including images, videos, and text. All shared media must comply with the platform's content guidelines, ensuring that it is not harmful, offensive, or infringing upon anyone’s rights.

Blocking and Reporting Features: If users encounter inappropriate behavior or content, they can block other users or report the issue. This feature ensures that the platform remains safe and respectful for all users.

Privacy and Permissions in Media

Use of Media: Any media uploaded by users (such as images or videos) is owned by the user, and Railhub only stores and displays it within the platform’s features. The Android Photo Picker ensures that users can selectively upload media from their devices, without providing the application access to their entire storage.

Mutual Transfer Disclaimer

Information Visibility: Any information posted under the Mutual Transfer feature is publicly visible to all users. Users are fully responsible for the accuracy of their details and any consequences related to sharing such information. Railhub is not liable for any misuse of posted information. Please ensure that you are comfortable with your data being shared publicly before posting.

Collaboration and Third-Party Features

Partnerships with External Services: While Railhub may collaborate with trusted third-party partners for certain features, we make it clear that Railhub is not responsible for actions taken by these partners. Users should be aware of the terms and conditions of any external services they engage with through the platform.
