  • Android Photo Picker: RailHub uses Android’s Photo Picker feature to allow users to select specific photos or videos to upload. This functionality ensures secure media sharing by restricting access to your entire library. Only the media you explicitly select is shared with the app.

  • Data Handling: Any media uploaded through the Photo Picker is handled according to this Privacy Policy. We do not store or access your media files beyond what you choose to upload.

3. Follow and Profile Features

RailHub offers a social interaction feature where users can:

  • Follow/Unfollow: Users can follow or unfollow other profiles.

  • Profile Visits: Users can view other users' profiles, including their followers, followings, and posts. No other activities or interactions of the user are visible to others.

  • Privacy of Personal Information: Email addresses, mobile numbers, and other personal information of users remain private and are not visible to others.

  • Public Data: Only followers, followings, and posts are visible to other users, and this information is accessible to all on the platform.

Important Note: By using this feature, you agree that your profile’s followers, followings, and posts are publicly visible. Ensure that the content you share aligns with your comfort level and adheres to our community guidelines.

4. Mutual Transfer Section

RailHub includes a "Mutual Transfer" section where users can share their information for transfer opportunities.

  • Public Posting: Any information posted in this section will be visible to other users. By posting, users agree to take full responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of the information shared.

  • Double-Check Before Posting: Users must carefully review and ensure that the information they share is accurate and intended for public visibility. RailHub is not responsible for any misuse of data shared in this section.

5. Chat Feature

The Chat feature in RailHub enables users to communicate with others through text messages. This feature is designed for safe and controlled interactions:

  • Text-Only Communication: Chatting is limited to text messages; sharing of images or videos is not supported.

  • User Profiles: Users can view and interact with others' posts, followers, and followings but cannot access private information like email addresses or mobile numbers.

  • Privacy and Responsibility: RailHub is not liable for the content or outcomes of user chats. Users are advised to avoid sharing sensitive or personal information and to communicate responsibly.

Engage in chats with mutual trust and adhere to community guidelines to maintain a secure environment.

6. How We Use Your Information

  • Name: Displayed across the platform, such as in posts and follower lists, to help identify you within the community.

  • Contact Details: Your mobile number and email are used for verification and communication purposes only. These are stored securely and never shared without consent.

  • Notifications: To inform you about relevant updates and activities on RailHub in real-time.

  • Your password is securely encrypted.

  • Sensitive information is stored and transmitted securely, using industry-standard practices.

  • Posting Rules: Users can share images, videos, and text in the community section. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content adheres to our guidelines and is respectful and appropriate.

  • Blocking and Reporting: Users can block or report inappropriate content or misbehavior. Reported content is reviewed, and necessary actions are taken to maintain community standards.

9. Account Deletion

  • Self-Service Deletion: Users can delete their account or data anytime through the app’s account settings.

  • Request-Based Deletion: Users can email contactus@railhub.in to request account deletion. Requests are processed promptly, following our data retention policies.
